Why would I need a music keyboard on my PC? There are many reasons; perhaps your regular keyboard’s in a different location to the PC, maybe you don’t have a MIDI keyboard, or space limits your keyboard size. Whatever the reason, this range offers realistically priced keyboards to add to your Windows PC. Why are they so low priced compared to regular electronic keyboards? Master keyboards don’t have any of their own sounds, they use the sounds of the PC soundcard to produce musical notes, and so, you don’t need to pay for sounds you Do I have to use a PC with a master keyboard? No, all of these are provided with a MIDI out socket for controlling external MIDI devices, but remember that at least one of the MIDI units must be a sound generator. Also, as some of these keyboards obtain their power from the PC, you may need a power supply when not connected to the PC. All our PC master keyboards are supplied with free bundled software and a cable to get your keyboard connected to a PC. Everything you need to get started playing music is in the box.
